Can we bring our dog?
Doggie Do’s and Don’ts
Here at Browns we would like all our guests
to enjoy their stay – four legs and two!
• All of our rooms are ‘dog friendly’ but please do let us know in advance if you would like to bring your dog. We make a £20 charge for a doggie stay.
• Please have your dog on a lead downstairs and in the corridors – you might meet another guest or Muffin the resident Westie.
• Please ask your dog not to jump on the bed.
• If beach or hillside has resulted in muddy paws, please just ask for access to our back area where a hose and doggie towel can be provided before you go upstairs.
• Slapton Sands and other local coves and small beaches such as sugary cove are dog friendly year-round. Some South Hams beaches, including Blackpool Sands, have dog restrictions during the summer months. See https://www.southdevonaonb.org.uk/beaches/
• Dartmouth loves dogs. Many of our shops, bars, cafes and restaurants are dog friendly, but not quite all of them. If you have made a dinner reservation elsewhere, please double check that you can take your dog. Our bistro and bar are dog friendly and we do ask that dogs are never left unattended in rooms.
